We are very pleased to announce that Shipeezi will join Startmate Accelerator’s Winter21 cohort!
Startmate is a program focused on accelerating the most ambitious founders, operators and investors through a 12-week program, propelled by a highly-trusted mentor-driven community and backed by the best angels, venture funds and tech startups in the region.
Startmate was created in 2011 as an alternative to support Australia’s latent creativity and potential. Niki Scevak (who would go on to found Blackbird Ventures) and other successful founders (including Mike and Scott from Atlassian) started by putting $10k into a micro fund to invest in the next generation of early-stage founders and started building a community of successful founders to support them.
Over the past decade Starmate invested in 150+ startups, with a collective portfolio value of $1 billion.
Shipeezi is one of the newest members of the Zapala family. It’s a next generation software focused on seamless integration with other solutions to increase visibility and traceability. It’s a one-stop-shop for Shippers, Freight Managers and Carriers.
For the past two years Maersk, Coles and Country Road were just a few of the companies who adopted Shipeezi to track their shipments and despatches. Carlos Ferri, Shipeezi’s founder & CEO, sees in Startmate the perfect opportunity to take Shipeezi to its next phase of growth.
